mainly the master/grandmaster trait lines with Sunspot, Electric Discharge, Earthen Blast, Soothing mist, burning rage, weak spot, enduring damage, bountiful power, arcane precision.

The attunement swap effects do so little. Sunspot, Discharge and Earthen Blast all do about 200 damage or under. Healing ripple heals somewhere around 1.3k. It shouldn’t get a ridiculous buff, but maybe somewhere around a 500 point increase would be nice.

Sunspot, Discharge and Earthen Blast gotta do more damage and include more effects.
Sunspot: inflict fire damage at your location and burn nearby foes for 3.5 seconds

Electric Discharge: strike your target with a devastating bolt of lightning and inflict 2 stacks of vulnerability and weakness (5 sec) when attuning to Air. (Strike nearby foes with chain lightning if there’s more than one foe nearby.)

Earthen Blast: Damage and cripple foes (5 sec.) When cripple wears off, foes are immobilized for 2 seconds.
Enduring damage is pretty good where it’s at.

I’m not gonna say anything about bountiful power when the Ranger’s Bountiful Hunter trait gives them a 5% damage increase when they or their pet have a boon… >_<

Arcane precision is almost pointless. You have a 7.5% to inflict a condition on critical hit. (though there’s no cd, it’s still a low as hell chance.) It should be buffed up a ton, or removed tbh :/ Then I dunno bout weak spot…maybe leave as is? then burning rage is fine as is.

Then theres soothing mist…it’s very weak where it’s currently at.
how bout something like:
Soothing Mist: You regenerate health and remove 1 condition every 10 seconds while attuned to water. then i was thinking of it being in the master traitline or grandmaster line to have an effect like Flame Barrier, except you’d have a 20% chance to be healed a small amount when you’re attacked in water attunement

Electric Discharge is just Lightning Strike, which is a pretty great skill, so it’s fine.

Soothing Mist is okay, your proposal would do nothing for anyone other than conjure eles, and no one would take a major trait for a Flame Barrier effect that heals a bit.

I think Sunspot would be better off as direct damage just a bit lower than Electric Discharge, but Burning’s fine, too.

No on the immobilize for Earthen Blast, that just seems too strong. You could increase the Crippled duration to 5 or 6 seconds and it would be kinda nice for mainhand dagger eles (maybe).

Arcane Precision is terrible, especially because it has the same effect as other minor and major traits. It should be replaced entirely.

right, but though electric discharge is like lightning strike, the damage from discharge is hardly noticeable.

Maybe my idea for soothing mist is a bit over the top, but it could use a buff, considering that you only get it when you’re in water attunement

what? electric discharge is great (and the other 15 pointers too, I guess). It’s literally free damage. it’s half as much damage as Mug, but can crit and has a very low cooldown and hilariously huge range. (does it even have an internal cooldown? I haven’t tried a fresh air build.) It adds a nice chunk to a burst combo. since it’s, you know, instant and all. I do not believe these traits need buffs.

Except for lingering attunements. This thing needs to actually work

Idt they have internal cooldowns, but still that really wouldn’t do a whole lot.

an extra lightning whip every 6 seconds for free is kind of a lot of extra damage for a 15 point trait

or every 12 seconds if you’re not fresh air spec. still pretty good. Against single targets, it’s flat out better than if it were “Do 5% more direct damage.” and pretty comparable to “Do 10% more direct damage.”

The bad thing about the 15point minor traits is that they only work when swapping attunements, which necessitates heavy investment in arcana for best results. The 5 and 25 point traits are better designed since they work for every attunement and allow for specialization.

closest to that is soothing disruption or renewing stamina :P or just spam Arc Lightning with Zephyrs Focus. there’s your auto vigor button
