Guild Wars 2

Hi all,
I am playing GW2 beta since the beginning, and i can just say the Ele class That is a wonderful idea but it is totally underpowered. Is there any word from ArenaNet That They Will balance this out because i tryed every possible build i can finde on the internet & I made ??my own build’s. I tryed every possible weapon and sigil and ruin and necklace and customized them but there is no way That We Can Have deacent dmg and survive rate at the same time … If ArenaNet dosnt fix this fast i will quit this class personaly uber Because It sucks and makes me angy it’s like they never played GW2 elementalist in PVP at all …. even build our conditioning cant be compare to the build from a thif .. cant build our glass cannon tank 2-3 hits and we getkitten… and Even When we are glass cannons we dont do good dmg … personaly i never hit some one more then 5k and i prayed That the dragon’s tooth hits the target Because It’s slow casting and animation time. Our ride the lightning skill is totaly bugged and i think its way to inportant That They let it so bugged since the erly beta .. They did not do anything to fix this … Can we get atleast to answer from ArenaNet That They are working on buffing the Elementalist?
All you Elementalist fan’s probably feel my pain …

EDIT: To answer your question, no, ArenaNet hasn’t made any statement on whether it’s being looked into or not.

If you dont enjoy the class anymore because you feel its inferior the by all means reroll. I personally realize the class has some issues but i absolutly love to play it. The skill level to make it good is what i look for and therefore no other class peaks my interest. Enjoy the game is my advice, dont torture yourself with a class you dont like.

I started to play guardian that is level 46 now and my main is Elementalist level 50 but im not playing on Elementalist anytime soon now because both damage and surviveability is way better on my Guardian. (Atleast 3 times better in any way)

But Elementalist is still more fun to play kinda sucks that they suck on so many aspects especially in Dungeons or PvE no one want to play with them! ;(

I’d recomend you to start playing another class while they fix some balance issues.

Elementalists can do pretty much everything in this game.
With the right weaponset/traits/etc, you get it. BUT not nearly as well as some other class, which makes eles mediocre at the most.
Please prove me wrong since Ive played Ele since the first BWE and I (sometimes) really enjoy playing it.

Ele has the highest skill cap on this game (as I’ve heard, havnt played every single one of them yet), so in my opinion, it should be rewarding if you succeed at it. (In before “lol l2p son, you must be doing something really wrong”).
Its just a fact that eles have to put so much more effort to do something (almost) any other class can do better.

I just feel like I have to jump through hoops to get almost as good results as my other characters auto-attacks. (warrior, ranger)

I am willing to concede that I just don’t understand the class and its mechanics. What is the “proper” way to play one in PvE? It just seems unforgiving and unrewarding.
