fighting just other eles isn’t going to improve our skills in normal pvp :P
But watching better Eles fight other classes will. We could make like.. An Elementalist PvP guild.
Not sure what the possible names would be..

Again, how does that improve against other classes? you might learn something from another ele, but how does that help you with other classes?
This is an mmo forum, if someone isn’t whining chances are the game is dead.
I keep losing out to condition classes even though I am definitely better than that said player.
Bad Elementalist
One can learn from fighting other classes, but fighting fellow elementalists (perfect balance/equality, same tools), you can see better where you lack. Because there’s always a better elementalist than one self.

Again, how does that help against other classes? I the real world, you are not only going to be fighting elementalist, as a matter of fact you will hardly fight elementalist.
So whatever you take from the fights will not be applicable, well at least not in the meta and not for a long time.
See if you want to have your Arena cool, but don’t make it sound grander than it really is. To me that is the equivalent of forming a group made of men and trying to come up with a marketing campaign for women, chances are it is going to fail real bad.

Well if you can’t kill an average ele, you’d have trouble against other classes. What I mean is that you learn to know yourself mutually with your fellows (how they place themselves, how they switch, how they combo, how they adapt), and you practice in the real world in the same time. Knowing your own limits can help you to get over it. But you’re right saying nothing compares to the real thing, that’s where experience counts.

The most I’ve learnt in pvp is playing the other classes, knowing the exact cooldowns, range and durations etc. of their abilities is wonderful for countering them.
