80 Necromancer (IRNY), 80 Guardian (IRNY)
GW2: it’s like DAoC, but for the WoW crowd.
FOCUS:
Fire:
Flamewall is nothing more than a far worse version of Ring of Fire with a longer cooldown. Please either replace Flamewall with Lava Font or give it a secondary ability akin to Temperal Curtain. Given the lack of any decent damage on Focus I vote for Lava Font, personally.
Water:
Please replace Freezing Gust with Frozen Ground.
Please replace Comet with “Cold Snap”.
Cold Snap:
0.75 Casting time, 45 Cooldown, 300 Range
Deal 588 Damage in a range cone.
Dazes chilled targets for 2 seconds.
SCEPTER:
Water:
Shatterstone is just as worthless as Flamewall.
Please replace Shatterstone with Comet, but replace the 2s Daze with a 2s Chill and reduce the cooldown accordingly.
Just suggestions to make them their own skill without taking things from other weapons.
Make flamewall apply 3 stacks of might upon passing through but like symbol of swiftness won’t give you might if you already got it from there once. Make freezing gust an AoE centered around your target about the size of lava font/geyser. The rest looked good.
Maybe make shatterstone a persistent effect like:
Shatterstone:
Spawn five crystals in a circle around the AoE that come crashing down one second after each other each applying vulnerability stacks.
No, we don’t need another might source … we need it to actually be scary for enemies to cross it.
How about this:
Flamewall: Causes Sunspot to go off on enemy players that cross it and applies Burning for 1 second.
If multiple enemies crossed it close to one another … that could be very scary.
I’ve had two ideas for shatterstone, and personally trading it with a Comet that does chill isn’t an option as condition builds really needs those vulnerability stacks.
OR
And another suggestion that could be added to flame wall, but would be a great addition to both the Elementalist and Guardians poor condition builds.

Condition builds?? I not seen a condition build elementalist since … closed beta. And that was only for a single spvp match and then he respecced.
No one gets hit by Shatterstone to be affected by the whole 5 vulnerability.
Chill + Burst + Damage is better for 99% of the builds out there over what Shatterstone does now.

Have you noticed which condition builds work and which do not? Mesmer and Necro both rock SPvP with condition builds because they can apply a varied enough suite that condition removal doesn’t completely nullify them.
What can you combo the scepter with? Focus and OH dagger, both of which have really good chill abilities already. You’d be effectively removing a condition and giving more of the same, putting a class which is already too vulnerable to condition removal in an even worse state, further exacerbating our build problems.
With how defense oriented SPvP is, condition builds aren’t likely going away until they add in a win condition that isn’t based on map control. It’s been two tournaments now since an Ele has even set foot on the field, and I can’t remember the last time I saw an Ele actually contribute to a win in a SPvP match. We want back in to SPvP, we need new builds, particularly in the bunker and condition areas.

Just because Conditions is the sPvP meta … doesn’t mean the elementalist is ever going to be a decent condi class. Not that anyone would ever choose Vulnerability over more Chill. Chill is borderline OP … Vulnerability is only good at higher stacks that shatterstone is never going to reach. Leave that to rangers.
What the class needs is the damage the class is missing that all its drawbacks are supposed to be paying for.
As for weapon combinations … it isn’t because we have many other choices. Don’t assume it is because it is actually good. It’s more like its the lesser of two turds.
