In this post, I shall refer to the nerf to eles based on the 26th July 2016 patch.

The nerfs included: reduced healing on Wash the pain away, increased cd on lava font, and the change of cooldown reductions from 33% to 20% for pyromancy/aeromancy/hydromancy/geomancy.

I feel that anet should really approach the pvp, pve, and wvw game modes DIFFERENTLY. What I mean to say is this:

in GW1, we had separate sets of skills for PvP and PvE. Whenever one mode needed a tweak to the numbers, they can just nerf the PvP values for a spell while leaving its PvE values untouched.

Right now I see a nerf across the skills for various justifications (nerf heal for Wvw. nerf dmg for Pve. nerf cooldowns for Pvp)

Its kinda ridiculous to bunch all the game modes together and nerf everything without TUNING it for SPECIFIC game modes.

Thing is they probably won’t listen to anything in this subform just like they don’t listen to anything in pretty much any of the other subforms.

And they’ll still be bad at balancing for more complicated classes. They do well when it comes to press 1 to win classes but others they just don’t understand. They nerf everything bc they don’t know how to make the class balanced. They don’t know how to make the class balanced bc they don’t listen to people who play those classes (engi and ele are covered under this).
