Marauder works great, minimal dps loss vs straight zerker for significant boosts to survivability. You can also bring a staff for better ranged options as well as swapping traits to defensive ones (ie, earth/water) and using defensive utilities if needed.

Dagger has a good amount of range to it allowing you to still “melee” while outside many incoming melee attacks. This helps a lot. Add in some good dodging and water blasts it’s really not bad at all.
No marauders in raids or fractals, please. Keep marauders for open world pve champs.

It’s not remotely a minimal DPS loss, it’s substantial.
Dagger autoattacks have the longest range of all melee classes sot here’s no reason to be getting hit by anything if you melee at max range and learn to dodge. If you’re having survival issues, equip a focus instead of a warhorn.
Air overload also has huge range for you to safely cast it from.

nah, using half marauder is better than full zerker for raids 90+% of the time. The #1 cause of failing dps checks is someone going down.

using half marauder is less than 5% dps loss
for a 30% health gain
and swapping warhorn to focus is a much bigger dps loss
