I would imagine the devs avoid the Ele forums like a plague by now (I would too); so rather than raging, I want to get some more discussion/idea’s going for Ele improvements (so I’m posting here, instead of the suggestions forums).

My idea is fairly simple. Evasive Arcana is too powerful (currently). So powerful that any build variation will always be inferior without it.
Also, the 25 point trait of the different attunement are uninteresting and don’t belong (i.e. enduring damage in earth and bountiful power in water).

So the idea goes like this:

  1. Remove Evasive Arcana (keep reading!).
  2. Replace the passive 25 trait of each elemental tree to the element specific evasion effect of evasive arcana.
  3. Replace Arcana 25 with Bountiful Power (current water 25) – Arcana is the boon duration tree after all!
  4. Replace Acana XI with the current Arcana 25 (perhaps a 60% chance to apply attunement based condition on crit)

This could make our build choices a lot more interesting (and make sense at the same time). I know the devs don’t take player advice very often (or so it feels) but if it reaches them, I hope this provides food for thought.
