Most of the elementalist focus skills have Duration.

Would it be OP if they added a trait to boost the duration on the skills for 1-2 seconds
Or
To last a fixed % longer? (which seems a little more balanced)

And do you feel that focus is worth taking over dagger or staff?

I personally love to use the focus because it’s fairly uncommon amongst players and yields great defense, but the defense is simply unsustainable.

PvE or PvP?
For dungeons Focus is often better than Dagger off-hand, and you should only use Staff if you’re the second Ele in the group.
In open PvE I get the best results with Staff, so I neither use Focus nor Dagger off-hand.

For pvp you can use focus as a subtitute for cantrips. It is great against ranged enemies and the daze/knockdown can set-up a large burst combo. It lacks mobility in comparison dagger.

I think focus over all should mimic shield in that they give added boost say a vit boots. Also i would love to see a support trait for focus say an aoe boon base off of what atument your in when you have a focus on and the trait.
