Guild Wars 2

Hey guys,

I’m looking for a little advice. I played GW2 from the first day of live up until the release of the Fractals but then stopped until now. I was able to gear up to a certain point but with the Ascendant gear I am unsure of how to proceed and with a somewhat limited play time I don’t want to purchase the wrong thing.

I have a full set of Exotic Power/Toughness/Vitality armour and I spend most of my time in WvWvW running a Staff with a 10/0/0/30/30 build. I am pretty close to crafting my Ascendant staff (Chorben to follow the P/V/T theme).

My question is do you think its sensible to carry on with just getting P/T/V accessories, an amulet and rings or would it be worth putting in some other stats like + healing or something else?

I do appreciate it does come down to play-style to a degree. I usually find myself with a large number of players trying to support with fields before trying to do as much damage as possible.

Anyway, before I go down the road of spending Laurels I thought would run it past the community to see what more experienced players thought.

That’s too much PvT. I understand not wanting to min/max as you don’t play a lot, but you’ll be not very useful with that build.

Crit damage is what makes eles powerful. You have 0 crit dmg.

Full PvT was a “discovery” more towards the start of the game.

If I were you, I’d switch to something burstier, and I’d also try out S/F as a weapon set.

My advice would be play around with sigils/exotic gear before going for anything ascended. If you have limited play time, dont even bother with ascended.

I run full zerk trinkets/or assasins + either knight/pvt/berzerker exotic. Never felt at a disadvantage compared to ascended.
