All fights are either duels, coming back from health deficits or fighting outnumbered. The fights get progressively better during the video as I get progressively better so feel free to skip ahead. I hope you enjoy! Feedback, questions and video likes are greatly appreciated!

This first video was a three part learning project. I first learned how to play Elementalist. Then learned how to edit. Third night was a combination of both as well as uploading. Advice on both playing and editing are appreciated! Expect more to come!

You have a very similar play style to me, with the lack of huge burst but the ability to survive through other’s burst and win the long battle.

Have you tried Ether Renewal? I have heard plenty of people talk bad about it, but I find it to be very powerful, especially when combined with your Cantrips.

I’ve encountered more necros of late that have Corrupt Boon. In those specific situations Ether Renewal can be useful but it’s more risky as it’s easily interrupted.

If you want a quick tip here you go. I watched the video and noticed that whenever you used updraft, you would just go walk up and use lightning touch or auto attack instead of utilizing the knock down to do guaranteed burst damage. If you Updraft someone, you can switch to fire and hit Burning Speed with ease, or you could switch to Earth and chain disable them with Immobilize and Knockdown.

@Albane Its not that I really hear people talking bad about it, I just don’t hear people talking about it at all. I just found I seem to have enough condition removal most of the time. I am going to start testing it though, thanks!

@MindlessRuff Thank you, I have gotten much better at using it since my first recorded fights. I am always looking to get better so I appreciate it.

The only good way to really use Ether Renewal is in mist form so u can remove a bunch of conditions. Or when you have enough distance between you and opponent, allowing for maximum heals / condition removal without being interrupted. The worst part about Ether Renewal is that it is a Channeling spell, causing you not to be able to use other skills unless you dodge roll to end it. The best thing about it, is the condition removal + short cooldown.

Yeah I haven’t really bothered to start messing with it too much yet. I am going to wait for the patch to roll through before I keep testing Ether Renewal.

the funny thing that whole video lol when at around 6:00 u was 1v1 that warrior lol… he kept on trying to use hundred blades constantly and got stunned everytime lmao pretty funny stuff

I’m thinking about making an elementalist, but I hear they’re not as fun. How have you found them to be? Do you think they’re complicated? What is your norns animal spirit? I know lots of question but your answers are much appreciated!

i cant even attempt to do this good at pvp tbh because my FPS is pretty low. the mid 30s. so the gameplay is a little slower but playable i can try and be good but i still end up getting my face kicked in at 2v1 or 3v1. 1v1 depends on the class i face.

@Rogue Girl Norn’s can use all animal spirits once unlocked Elementalist’s are a blast! I greatly recommend ignoring forum posts and making one. Hit me up in game I will definitely help break you into some Elementalist sPvP. What is your current class?
