Guild Wars 2

I noticed that my movement speed on elementalist is slowed by at least 40% when engaged in a fight recently , in the past i remembered that when fighting my movement speed stays the same hence i am able to escape when my hp goes down … or did i remembered wrongly ?

also it could be nice if they could add a weap swap button for us elementalist ( off combat only )…it’s so troublesome to keep switching between staff n scepter/dagger as i have to go find my dagger every time from inventory with risk of accidentally salvaging or selling it.

“Being in combat decreases speed by 30% This is the only speed reduction that stacks with other penalties.”

Also something important:
“Only the highest speed reduction is applied”

all chars in game gets slowed down when they are in the combat stage.
this is akitten mechanisem that i wouldnt for the life of me begin to understand why any one could ever thin would be a good idea… but some wierdo dev thought it was a nice idea and its in the game now and staying -_-
