I swear I saw an Elementalist running around Lion’s Arch today with a rifle. Not just any rifle, but a rifle skin I had never seen before and cannot find in any gallery collection of rifle skins in game or online elsewhere.

Anyone got an answer for this? I have screencaps that I can post, but if someone else has seen this before and can explain, I am all ears.

It was probably the bundle item you get for the new Karka hunt achievement. Haven’t done it myself yet but pretty sure that’s what you saw.

Could be an NPC, lots do not stick to the weapon and skill restrictions players have. Can’t remember where but there’s an Ele event NPC that uses a hammer, always thought that was cool.

Other option, there is a toy rifle that every character gets on their second birthday, its a non combat rifle, and shoots birthday cake which grants buffs.

Yes, that one. It’s the Karka hunt achievement.
