Elementalist staff condition pvp build?
The main reason why I feel it’s NOT viable in PvP is due to the way Eruption currently works (i.e. you’re never gonna hit stuff with it). You can have a fair amount of burning on staff, but without a reliable second condition (i.e. at least some bleeding) it’s just not gonna work. Compared to dagger and scepter, which both have spammable bleeds as well as other skills that cause bleeding, staff is just severely lacking.
I’ve proposed a partial fix for this in another thread, but keep in mind that it won’t make full condition staff a viable option. It’s merely there to make conditions not completely useless.

It is not viable for the simple fact that our highest dmg attacks have literally no condis: lava font and meteor, and neither do our autoattacks. Sure, eruption does good dmg with a condi but it is difficult to pull off, and is actually much more effective as a surprise burst shot than a condi shower.
hmmm true im going to go and try a few weapons to see which ones can stack more bleeds and burns faster, staff does seem to lack reliable bleeds.
You also lack easy application of lots of cover conditions, so in this metagame where condition removal against the good condition classes has to be very strong, competent builds remove your relatively sparse conditions easily because they are built to deal with even more than you can create.
