I also have the same question – have a 50ish ele that I’d like to get the hang of by playing pvp. Any recommendations on builds for hot join/soloQ?

Seriously, we are VERY weak in S/TPvP right now, unless you like getting melted in seconds then i would suggest not playing S/TPvP. Sure, some “okay” builds like Fresh Air or something but even with that, you will still die A LOT.

Eles atm aren’t exactly powerful but they can hold their own if your good. There will be a new patch soon but most the ones I see run a staff support build or more commonly the s/d fresh air build.

Some people enjoy playing the underdog profession. If the extent of your advice is “play something else” then thanks, noted – now please go away.

Staff builds are most popular. Most fun is dagger dagger but you are a liability in the holding points game mode. S/d players can be scary good but require the most skill to learn. That being said, d/d ele is great in group fights when the comp allows for it. Wait until team deathmatch comes out. You will see
