Eles in fractals
The same build I run everywhere: Evasive Arcana/Glyph build with staff. As for the guides, it’s more about learning how the fractals work in general than specific tricks for specific professions. Once you learn how to do the level 10 ones, the higher level versions are basically the same…only stuff hits harder and takes more damage.
Idem. I play an auramancer D/F build, but switch to Staff when range and kiting are more convenient.

I play with a variation of my build (link in signature):
0/30/0/30/10

0/30/0/10/30 or 0/30/0/20/20 – for solid s/d dps
0/20/0/20/30 – for easymode d/d
Thanks guys.
Is it true, that in higher fractals you should only play with staff(distance weapons), because the dmg you take is to high?
Not true at all.
My group for fotm 70+ is 90% of the time melee.
What you necessarily need is the following:
- optimal dps (staff could be good, but it fails with the rest of the points, read on)
- very good dodging
- strong enemy control (snare melees, counter projectiles, lots of blinds, etc)
- team support (people will go down, some will even die often)
I find fotm 70+ to be the most interesting content of the game, despite having meaningless rewards.

Eles are bad in fractals. That’s why I run a warrior and swap back at the end for ele.

puging 48 dailies with the new 55ar noobs wave can be quite intresting too… seriously sometimes it is a lot harder than 70+ played with ppl who know how to play.
