Evasive Arcana NEEDS to be revisited
just to ask (still able to stack any amount of swiftness with rune of the pack).
What on earth swiftness is useful for? considering as you are engaged in battle its disabled?
Ever try chasing an ele with swiftness even in combat?
Pretty much this; Doesn’t matter if movement is scaled down; that ele is still running 33% faster than you are if you don’t also have swiftness; and he can keep it up constantly.
Or cripple, chill, daze, stun, immobilize, knockdown, launch, pull, fear, leap, charge, shadowstep, blink or line/ring of warding.

25% i think i read somewhere (not sure if intended or not)….
Also seems guardians swiftness is more effective….maybe they use some sort of traits for that, but ele swiftness seems slower than swiftness applied on ele by some guardians.
yet i’ve still to outrun someone due to swiftness ._.
It ust be told also that to keep pera swiftness you have to waste key spells that leaves you defenceless in case of battle.
Air3 and the healing ….
I don t think any players near a battlefield use permaswiftness….
Out of battle and far from it, it may be useful.
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.
You are forgotting water 4 and change of attunment to air (no need to waste your heal to have perma swiftness)
But if I want to outrun someone (or a centaur as my character seems to want to do that very often…) I prefer air 4
(Also, I don’t try to have perma swiftness during a fight. But it is up 70% of the time just by doing normal skill rotations )
To be honest I think almost every elementalist trait is awful so I wouldn’t worry about evasive arcana too much given that it’s one of our few traits worth taking at all
lol what? Ele has tons of very good traits
