Hey fellow DD eles, I have a quest on evasive arcana.

I noticed that the damage that the spell does when you dodge(so you activate evasive arcana) is far less than the corrispondent normal spells (for example fire ring or churning earth).
Does this is working as intendend? It should be the same as normal skills?

From this so I have another question…So if damage is far less than what shoud be, in the end, evasive arcane’s dodge spell is good only when attuned to water where you clease conditions and get some heal?

It’s not a bug – the damage on Evasive Arcana is less than the actual spell (it applies less stacks of bleed for Churning Earth too).

However, it’s still pretty useful
-Water EA heals for a lot
-Earth EA is a blast finisher, and it cripples too
-Fire can be used to burn people for Fire Grab
-Lightning blinds – maybe to stop stomps (not sure if you can do that)?

Yeah, they purposely deal less damage. This is yet another case of the Trait description being unclear.

And you’re right, it’s basically only good for the heal in Water and the Blast finisher in Earth. Fire deals almost no damage at all and it’s generally not worth the risk and endurance it costs to get the blind from Air (though I guess you could swap to air and dodgeroll on top of someone going for a stomp if your other channel breakers were on cooldown).

I main Ele and Necro, though I have an alt of each profession at level 80.
