So I really don’t see why “eye of the storm” doesn’t have it’s aura….. It just feels like such a waste of great potential! I would completely prefer “eye of the storm” with a shocking aura over “rebound” which is an effectively useless skill.

Its the shout i don´t use exept the passive one which is good.

The other shouts don’t really have “effects” except for some small damage and an aura.

Honestly I feel like EoTS is one of, if not the best shout tbh. With Feel The Burn and Flash Freeze being practically useless except for proccing aura-traits.

Even if it only gave shock aura with some damage, eye of the storm would still be better than it is currently, for the simple reason that it would actually synergize with traits.

The stunbreak is cool, except nowadays the cc tends to be chained, so you break out of one and immediately eat another because you still don’t have stability, it’s the same issue with overloads. Superspeed isn’t quickness so that doesn’t really do that much. Other classes can just dash/teleport the same range while you run.

It would be nice if it was on a lower cd at least. When you have shouts with stab on them on 30 sec cd 40 sec with no stab seems kind of week.

Super speed is not a bad effect and an all in super speed build on tempest seems ok its just the class is missing one more aoe super speed i think the on swap skill should be made aoe letting ele fill a super speed buffing class something that i do not think is in the game yet. (I guess eng can do it to a point but they have to do a few things before it works where tempest simply needs to use a skill).

I am still in favor of adding in a cdr like effect to shouts for tempest such as the more ppl you hit the lower the cd or when under the effect of an aura drop the cd of shouts.

Eye of the storm could still grant Static Charges to you and your allies.

If an aura is needed, it needs not to be static aura, it’s truly the most annoying aura possible, and will probably be the reason why we’ll see nerfs to the class. In the best case, it could be a light aura.

PLEASE don’t load any more power into aura traits. I’d like for the auras themselves to be worth using, instead of just a way to trigger traits.

Well auras are a big part of the ele/tempest class all there wepon sets but one has an aura on it and auras fills that self buff roll so it fits.

See the issue is, auras have so many traits that they have to be kept weak on their own to avoid being grossly overpowered (and they’re already partway there… auramancer is crowding out pvp viability).
So every build that doesn’t take a ton of aura traits (and every other class that isn’t ele. combo auras are a thing) suffers for it as a result.

The though is that the shouts them self would be able to cdr as you use them. So say you make the might / weekness have a 33% faster cd when under aura for shouts you at least get 5 sec of 33% cdr for your shout from the shout it self. That and you can justified having a bigger cdr then the stander -20% with out comply braking the ideal.

There realy nothing else like aura when it comes to tempest/ele.
