Although an Elementalist’s most versatile part isn’t his/her weapon, weapon choice is definitely a factor that contributes to your overall playstyle. I personally am stuck between Staff or Scepter/Dagger, but this topic is for any weapon combination that you like. Also, try to include reasons why each weapon combination is your favorite (I like it doesn’t count).

Dagger Dagger with frost bow and fiery greatsword, running bunker traits but with zerkers runes to dish out what I take.

Frostbow = wicked

Fiery greatsword = lost of damage when immobolized or chilled/crippled

S/D for me. I only use D/D in WvW due to superior mobility, otherwise S/D is where it’s at. Better burst potential from range when specc’d 20 in air, and I just prefer the animations.

Timing your burst correctly and landing phoenix/dragon’s tooth are immensely satisfying.

I really want to use S/D or S/F in almost all cases with my ele but D/D is wayyyyy too good. (in PvP that is)
