Fiery is good for escaping, Glyph is good for 1v1s?

Could someone evaluate pros/cons of both in PvX? It would be very helpful as I’d like to know your opinion on both. Fiery sounds good for solo roaming ( mobility ) but Elementals is good for it too ( extra damage/healing … )

Earth elemental + icebow + glyph of storms for solo capturing camps.

The only time i used the sword and chose it consciously over the elemental was during Tequatl, back when you couldn’t crit bosses.
Never took part in fiery gs dungeon spam.

well i would prefer the elemetal but in WvW the movement from FSG realy helps…
This is some kind of not intended usage. FSG 3 should be changed to a massiv AE attack around you, that is worth taking the sword. I could be a short whirle that launch, hit and burn all within 180 around you.
An then make the elemtals duration infinite (of course can´t change the skill). So its like a minion.

I use fgs when i run fresh air SF or SD for have more mobility.
Glyph for me is better (fire elemental) on DD and staff celestial builds
