Flames of War is what the Fire Overload should’ve been. Flames of War is the torch #5 of the new warrior spec. Important aspects:

- Is a fire field
- Actually deals good damage (very important for pve viability of overloads)
- Not channeled (?)

And while we’re at it, please make the tempest warhorn #5 (the moving water field) move with the tempest. I hope this one is not “reserved” for ranger >.>

Add:

Pulsing stab to have perma stability …. not like it would be broken on the class with the lowest HPpool and armor and that have to channel fureaking 5sec long skill :x

(well would be op if mixed with water and arcana but here is one thing: on which class perma stab wouldnt be broken ? XD)

Tempest seems made careful not to make ele better in any way, since that would be bad

given this is the lightest armoured & lowest HP class in the game, how is channelling for 5 straight seconds in point-blank range ever going to be fun & worthwhile?

leaving aside the other criticisms like 100% duplicating the existing role of D/D, or that overloads don’t synergise at all with 2 out of 3 main-handweapons.

it’s a mystery how it ever made it past the whiteboard stage.

downed state is bad for PVP

All the overloads should have a moving field during the chanle. So it becomes a true support only move in that you cant finnish your own overload field. The problem is that there is no earth field i would love to see this one day though.

Well this would have been something to add that would have been considered “new”.
Earth field: gives quickness or stability to allies when blasted, slow to enemies on whirl, leap gives magnetic aura.

Well this would have been something to add that would have been considered “new”.
Earth field: gives quickness or stability to allies when blasted, slow to enemies on whirl, leap gives magnetic aura.

That would be way too much for one field even a stab would be too much. Its hard to say where earth field fits but i have a feeling it constants field effect would be a cripple its finishers would be bleeds on Projectile and Whirl protection on Blast and magnetic aura on Leap.

I think there would be only 2 ways to make this field earth 4 staff or the earth wall and earth overload.

Apparently Warrior because they get a very close to perma stab version.
