Whats is your guys opinions on mixing cele with zerk.. Currently I run full cele trinkets and full zerk armor and weapons… Im prettty squishy with around 16k hp

I am not a d/d ele and lack experience there. I personaly don´t like the cele gear and tend to use only a cele backpack ^^. I have 15k HP and don´t feel too squishy with my high toughness unless fighting heavy condi builds. It depends on your build/weapon. If you feel to squishy you can mix knight and valkyr instead of zerker.
I did build a staff ele that uses soldiers and a bit knight (only the rings). I don´t feel the extra HP much but i notice the lower crit damage and so often use a zerker staff instead of the soldiers. Eles depend more on the build and active play.

You are far from squishy with 16kHP.

Zerk + cele is okay, people often mix in some cele to round their stats.

I’ve been running zerk armor, cele everything else just fine. You may have some trouble in outnumbered match ups occasionally but I’m having great success with it personally after testing the limits and getting used to it.

What about full cele armor and zerk trinkets? What about weapons? Will we need to mix in some soldiers or knights?

What are you doing in WvW? Zerg vs Zerg? Guild vs Guild? Small Squad Havoc? 1vX Roaming?

Roaming, small groups, 1vX.

solo roaming i find going into air instead of fire is better since lightning rod is pretty good against thieves and applying pressure in general. Group roaming you can probably build for more sustain and focus on might stacking.

Cele armor/zerker trinkets is a viable option as well. Honestly it all depends on how comfortable you feel with your setup. I run the zerker armor/cele everything else because with guard stacks I feel comfortable solo roaming taking on 1vX. If you feel like you’re too squishy, substitute zerker pieces for soldier/knight/etkittenil you find a good balance. I’ve even run full cele and get great results, although more of your damage will be from burning.

As far as air vs fire, run what you like. Fire can be great in condi heavy fights whereas air is great for lightning rod for power classes. I’ve been running fire recently with pack runes to make up for my mobility with swiftness and the fury is nice too. I run this solo roaming and small scale (3-4 people). It’s also amazing for all the those PU condi mesmers. I’m invincible with fire.

For small groups i go Celestial Armor. Zerker, Knight & Cav Trinkets. Zerker Weapons. Lighning Rod. Hoelbrak Runes. Mele classes have a tough time with me. Is not squishy i find it just right

Take everything what u want. As long as there are no lags, you can play. Lags will kill you and wvw.
