I’m not sure how do developers measure the “success” of a class. Is it by time it is played? By amount of players? By representation in tPvP? A combination of the above?

I wonder because, anyone who checks the forums regularly knows Im an ele “activist”, as in Im always calling out the weaknesses of eles and attempting to give solutions to them, yet nothing serious gets done about it. Lots of unnecessary changes, buff all the other classes 2x and then they call it a day.

Im wondering because if it is by time played, despite knowing that Im griefing my team by playing ele, knowing that I would be better off by literally playing anything else, I choose to play ele because all the other classes bore me to yawns and tears. If it is by representation, a bunch of people share my thoughts in that matter. If it is by tournament representation…. well, I dont think we can get over the fact there has been literally 0 representation in the last tournaments, that almost all ele pros decided to give up and reroll another class, that despite our cries we still have no serious concerns about our issues

Could we address the survival issues of eles or shall we remain as glorified fire/water fields?

well considering that we perform pretty well in WvW i think if they just turned back all the spvp nerfs they gave us, Ele would be in a good place….. also i mean cmon… RTL change it back to 20 seconds… do it… this would go a long way putting ele on par with other classes in pvp

The issues you mention have lessened in sPvP since the recent patch. Wheter that was by accident or by design I’ll leave up to you.

If you can read this then it is proof that ArenaNet’s moderators just, kind and fair.
