How it works:

By activating Arcane Power and Glyph of Elemental Power, the next 5 or so attacks will stack high amounts of burn (plus the Arcane Precision trait).

Use Signet of Fire as soon as it appears for an additional 6 or so stacks of burning.

Record amount of burn to Heavy Golem in Heart of the Mists: 25 stacks / ~10,000 burn damage per tick

How to use:

Fire 1 will mainly issue the burns. Use Fire 4 on downed players, as well as Fire 2 and 3. Fire 1 and Signet of Fire are your main sources of damage.

Don ’t forget to use Air 4, Earth 4 and Earth 5 for protection!

Tips:

- Play around with it in unranked, make a few build tweaks to your preference, ta-da.

- Use air for mobility and water for extra CC (as well as trident)

- Stay in group fights

- Have fun!

Weaknesses:
- Plague Necros
- Eles with lots of condition cleanse

this is a condy burst glass cannon in effect , weaknesses:

all your condy is burn
No heal, no toughness and low hp in pvp.
range or melee focusing you down
condy cleanse

condi burst+support tank is my favorite pve build, but 20 burn stacks is way too easy to cleanse in pvp. ele isn’t good at applying covering conditions

I am statisfied with 5-10 burn stacks + bleed, criple,imob,blind,chill, weakness, torment, vulnerability and poision + fear i an option …. Some thiefs attack and die to my ele condi bomb in 5 seconds without me attacking after the fist second to prevent cleanse ….
In wvw roaming i play condi heavy ele (lots of viper pieces) and if i go PvE i use the same.

If you want to go air i would propably do it this way. For glass pick viper.

I think tempest works better then base ele for that.

I have a theory, and that theory is that there is an excellent metaworthy condition build available to create out right now. That’s right.

Noone sticks outside the healbot meta, so of course the search for build diversity remains inhibited. However, there are a few obscure but extremely important components to the condition build, which allows it to generate something very important: condition spread. The issue burn guards and burn eles have had to deal with forever. Thanks to Wolfric’s choice in sigils and Rune of the Sunless in his build above, I think I may have found a jackpot BUT I haven’t tested this build yet. It’s gonna take some time to test and make an analysis off of it.

You can play nuke builds because you know you won’t be focused at the first team fight. They’ll go for the necro thinking you’ll support him. So nuke away and they die first.

A theory is just that..a theory, no matter how you want to put it, the skills will remain what they are unless they get changed.

People don’t play auramancer by choice…but because they’re forced to do so, despite all this testing , you guys always forget the most fundamental element that all experienced players possess : adaptability

Experienced players can change tactics on the fly, they won’t keep fighting hardcounters during a match..when they can be somewhere else, what I mean is, once your build is presented the exp player will just outrotate you, sending somebody else better suited for the fight against you and then…place a big target on your head whenever you show up during a teamfight, that’s where any build outside auramancer fall flat and get instagibbed.

Yes you may overwhelm somebody at first try who was expecting a bunker ele with no dmg..the 2nd time the enemy will rotate mid and send somebody with superior condi cleanse like a druid or war..even a prepared scrapper can bide his time against this build, meanwhile a burst spec coming your way to +1….

@Abelisk my air version was a suggestion. I basically play fire/earth condi ele and it works. I tried a lot and thought about mobility and always came back to fire and earth. Without fire the damage falls off to much.
It has some weaknesses being unable to kill other ele´s or warriors with ire and berserker stance but i could not find a version using air or water that works that well. Air makes some nice and funny builds but in the end it was not worth using.
I catch many by surprise. Thiefs or reves on top. The think ele prey and are done before they can disengage and i do a lot of point preassure which is worth more then healbot in solo Q. Shure you can argue necro can do it better but ele still offers some support and a bit more survivability.
I am still testing which amulet is best. I mostly fall back to sage but viper is very good. Problem is you are very squishy but thats clear it´s a glass amulet ….. Tried deadshot and played wanderers long. Both are useful but in the end sage or carrion offers more. Having power + condi damage is the strong part while i realy like the condi duration total damage from sage is better. In WvW i use viper weapons and armor but there i can mix gear and keep some toughness and extra health with trinkets.
An yes your signet version is good but i would use power overhelming and scavenger rune ;-).

Modified it.
But it has a serious drawback. Your condi defence is very low. Only on stunbreaker on 45 sec is dangerous. I usually avoid going out with less then two stab/stunbreak options. My experience is two is just right. Only one or even zero somtimes kills you and more then two seems to much in most cases.
This is why i droped arcane. Tempest offers me the defence i need and adds condi cleave with earth and fire overloads and those are stunbreakers (earth is stability too)
