This is a build I made awhile back. It might soon be useless with new updates coming out, but here is the link to it. I would like feed back it is based in part of a build Woodenpotatoes made but was edited.

Build: http://intothemists.com/guides/2247-glassy_crit_build

Note: I have run meta events on this build (with a few changes for more aoe output) and it’s easy enough to stay alive if you’re fast.

sceptre mainhand is garbage because the autoattacks are hilariously weak. once you run out of burst skills you’re stuck with the terrible AA skills.

if you wanted a good dps ele without conjure/fire staff I would suggest one of the various dagger/focus fresh air builds (30/30/0/0/10, 10/30/10/10/10, etc) which provide much more damage than the sceptre. you should also be using fiery greatsword since it’s too good to pass up.

11k health – in WvW that is certain death.

S/F is great for survivability so going zerker can really be good. But…
I’d go 10/30/10/10/10,
Ele without all those damage boosts aren’t great at zerk.

- Since you’re main spike comes from Air and not Fire you don’t need that 20%cd on fire.
- Also EA is good but you have Focus so that extra survivability isn’t needed from EA
- Also I’d go 20% faster Air recharge instead of 10% more in Air just because Lightning Spike and Swirling Wind are that great.

Other then that you’re good

P.S. Arcane Brilliance in this kinda build isn’t most effective, I’d still go Dwayna’s Prayer or GoLE. If you’d go S/D then Brilliance and Arcane Blast could work out for some major Might stacking. We need a Spike Heal in a 1 on 1 situations where your build shines so I’d go with one of the above heals.
-Also you need those damage boosters in Air, Earth and Water trees.
- Might consider switching Arcane Blast for Armor of Earth (depending on situations), although I’d still keep it, but sometimes you need that Stability and Protection.

I used to use this, but with 10 in earth for armor of earth.

Was better for surviving. And yeah, this guy ahead of me. 11k health and ur just dead.

At that point you gotta say to yourself, “do I want to do a lot of damage before I die, or do I want to live alittle longer doing less damage?”

30/30/10/0/0 is actually the more supportive variant of a LH build, which provides vuln/fury/might-stacking. however, it lacks a number of important damage modifiers. if you’re the only ele in a group I’d still suggest running this build (or a slightly stronger variant with no vuln stacking like 30/10/10/20/0)

maximum conjure DPS would be 0/20/25/25/0 which goes all out on getting damage modifiers (you can possibly see 4k+ fiery rush ticks with it). rather surprising but it’s because of how damage% modifiers are OP when put together.
some disadvantages of the build are that
1. you don’t get conjure charge trait which is problematic in some fights
2. one damage modifier is reliant having full endurance
3. no vuln/fury-stacking

the highest DPS non-conjure build is probably staff 30/10/10/10/10, because lava font and meteor shower are OP. 30 fire is necessary in this build (compared to LH builds) because of how persisting flames makes lava font much stronger.

Any class that is able to keep you at range, use dodges, stealth or plenty of CC will melt you with 11k health and no added toughness and armor.

OP said he runs meta events with his build, so you can infer that his intent for the build is PvE. He’s not worried about countering other players.
