Glyph of Elemental Power...Problem
It seems that ArenaNet isn’t sure about this themselves.
When the patch you refer to first released the cooldown was not lengthend but divided among each Elemenalist in the vincinity. Resulting in an INSANE DPS increase when the glyph was used in fire even on non-condition builds. (I’m talking about 50% increase on a zerker build which usually hovered around 30-35k then achieved easy 50k+)
This was later patched, yet the notes only stated “[…] caused te effect to trigger too often […]” and I haven’t done testing on it ever since.
If the wiki is correct there that would render the glyph worse than ever before, because Eles easily block each other out especially on large events. And because there is no priority system s.b. with low burn duration and damage can hinder someone with stats supporting conditions.
I also completely don’t get the point. What about it was so problematic that they needed to limit it to 1 Ele at a time being able to apply the procs? Eh? Is it proccing an instant kill nowadays?

ANet doesn’t kitten any other condition application skill based upon nearby players, so why do it here?
It´s a bit the same with rebound… Why the hell this effect? Just make it intant cast and give the aura and put it on 50s CD ….

I’m also a big fan of this suggestion too!
1. Make it instant
2. Make the aura application instant
3. Keep the “death-blow” feature, remove the heal if that’s too OP

Exactly. If the wording/wiki is right it makes the skill useless except in coordinated groups like raids, or solo play.

There is absolutely no need to limit the skill which is why I think it’s a bug or worded incorrectly.

Since this glyph is applied to the self and inflicts conditions on enemies by attacking them it makes no sense at all to link it with other players. I wouldn’t mind a change/improvement to rebound myself but GoEP is a self-applied dps/condition application skill and very different.
Well why would it be a near by thing why not just be a tag on that player they cant be effected but it for another 5 sec?

Having a 5 second cooldown per attunement, or even across all attunements, makes sense. I suspect that was intended in the first place but Anet messed up the wording…or messed up the glyph! Hopefully the first one.

I am getting a lot of use out of it i find that 47.66% seems to be the magic condtion duration.

It still has solo/highly coordinated group use but if the wording/wiki is correct it might break if another elementalist uses it nearby. Sounds like a bug to me!
