Hi all,

I just wanted to ask, am I the only one who finds Glyph of Elementals broing? Well, not the skill but the elemantals. They are basically the same elementals you can conjure with Glyph of Lesser Elementals but bigger (and stronger).
I was hoping they’d get a makeover since it’s an elite skill.
Every time I summon them (and I do that a lot lol) I get slightly disappointed.
What do my fellow elementalists think?

I actually like them. I feel like engineers and their hobo-sacks deserve a cosmetic update much more than we do. Same look on kits from level 5 to level 80.

Maybe it’ll happen in a future update.

I know we already have alot of flashy spells but some do feel lacking. Like glyph of elemental power, it should enchance the spellcasting animation or the projectiles in some way.

I would like to not clog the screen with more effects than there already are because it will make it difficult to see mob/boss abilites, thanks.

The only elemental I find lacking is air. I sometimes wonder if a ball of lightning for that thing was done on purpose, or if it’s a placeholder that they have forgotten to remove.

I will admit that I wish the greater elementals had at least a slight visual differentiation from the lesser ones. It’s really the difference between the regular and veteran enemies though so it’s not all that surprising there isn’t one.

I really wish there was more of a visual differentiation between regular enemies and their veteran and champion versions.

I don’t have any problem with the Elementals personally. Just being larger is fine with me. Fits with all the other summons which never really get more crazy impressive looking either (the Sylvari wolf summon elite is literally just a Fern Hound). The only summon that really looks massively different / impressive is Mistfire Wolf, which I assume is only like that to entice people to buy Deluxe.

Now, I certainlyI wouldn’t be opposed to a different model for Glyph of Elementals, but I don’t really think its a nessicary requirement or anything. The elementals are fine as-is, but there’s room for improvement. And I would hope the differences would be reasonable, nothing crazy like glowing Ice Elementals with 20 giant ice spikes or Flame Elementals that have a 5-foot burn effect on all parts of their body.
