Glyphs on Weaver
Would be interesting, but yeah, it would end up making Glyphs too good. I really don’t know how they could balance that. The entire function of each glyph would need to change when you select Weaver.
Fair enough. From my perspective glyphs are underused right now.
“Too good” is MOSTLY a function of numbers which can be tweaked
There IS such a thing as too many options, but since each glyph has one cooldown for all of its options, there’s still a substantial cost to using one.
Its not ENTIRELY changing the function of each glyph, they already swap abilities (sometimes substantially) based on attunement. Its just adding…lets see.. 4 choose 2…6 new abilities to each glyph. 6! that’s not even 10! =P. In all seriousness though, yeah this is why I feel its a big ask. It IS more than doubling the number of abilities each glyph offers. But it WOULD be cool.
It would work with the following:
*Hybrid elementals instead of two for Glyph of Lesser Elementals and Glyph of Elementals. Make them Permanent.
*Hybrid Storms for Glyph of Storms and drop base CD to 40 sec.
*Glyph of renewal would actually get use if it gave benefits of both elements when dual attuned.
*Glyph of elemental harmony gives new boons based on dual attunement.
*Glyph of Elemental Power have additional condition types for dual attunement.

glyphs are pretty bad right now, only think they are beaten by sigils in general, but even here you will see far more sigils on serious builds than you will see glyphs.
so i am not afraid they will be “too good” if they are then GOOD at Last the glyphs will get some time in the spotlight, which they kitten well deserve by now ;P
when that is said; YES I would love to see more skills being affected not just by the Weaver setup, but also by the weapon you are using.
I would love for them to start incorporating different effects for utilities/elites depending on which weapon you were using so that all the skills have a valid/realistic place for each weapon (especially Range of the skills need tweaking depending on weapon).
the elemental summons should also be permanents until they die, and attackspeed+accuracy+movement speed should all be increased.
Glyphs are beyond awful right now but if they worked with the 2 elements of the weaver they might just barely become viable taking a slot in PvP/WvW.
In any case they’re garbage & underused right now so I would welcome this change.
The major issue with elementals is their lack of Permanence. They are very underwhelming on all aspects.
