Guild Wars 2

Figured I would attempt soloing a supply camp with my d/d ele. Never had to pop heal thanks to HP regen. Crappy vid and music, forgot bandicam records stuff playing in the background lol.

Not a special or exciting build really but gear is shown at the end of the vid

The reason I have 2 daggers with corruption runes is to build condition damage faster, when its close to the 25th stack I usually swap to my battle sigil dagger.

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure that those Sigils don’t stack. Meaning you’re not building to the max 25 any faster by having two.

it definitely builds faster. it builds by 2 instead of 1. You can’t, however use 2 different stacking sigils like bloodlust and corruption. But 2 of the same help it build quicker

I have done this before and that was great but and please seriously don’t take this the wrong way. Fire to earth you BS/RoF to earthquake churning. You have evasive arcana use it for your might stacking.

Ok D/D ele 101

You main combo fields are burning speed and ring of fire. By using a blast finisher in these fields you gain 3 stacks of might which last 20 seconds. Might increases the dps of both Power based skills and condition damage skills. With D/D ele you have 2 blast finishers naturally both in earth. One being earthquake the other being churning earth. Your build also utilizes evasive arcana. The only real reasons to carry evasive arcana is to have an extra heal/cleanse in water attunement and to have 4 more blast finishers one in each attunement (more info here http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Evasive_Arcana).

Going to use abbreviations for this part since we all know the skils

A good combo to pull off is

RTL→ UD→ SA→ fire attunement→ BS→(I have evasive arcana so I usually roll backward to get might)→ RoF→ earth attunement→ Earthquake→ CE

This combo will have you at 10 stacks of might and fury for your churning earth uping your 12% crit to 32%

Either way not using your fields is a waste since you have so many tools.

Hmm never really looked into it that much lol. Just pew pew things and move, but the more might i can get stacked off of doing something i already do, the better. thanks for the info, i’ll definitely have to start getting used to setting that combo up.

Not really. You can do this on just about any class in full exotics. Seen a guardian and thief do it in person so it’s not that big a deal.

yeah, its really not hard for many tanky classes to do this. It just takes time.
