Healer elemental for pve
I’m going to go ahead and save you the trouble and tell you that would not be the wisest of ideas for this type of game. If you are not running Berserker armor for dungeons you might get kicked out. There are no dedicated healers in this game. However, you can play this game any way you choose and if you can get a party that is built around you then more power to you. In that case I would go with Cleric armor, Cleric weapon, and A mix of Soldier’s and Cleric’s trinkets. Your main trait line will be Water and I would go V (III if you have cantrips), X, XI. 30 in arcane as well for boon duration and extra buffs V, VIII, XI. The last 10 doesn’t really matter and it all depends on where you want to put it (10 in earth for more armor, 10 in air for the precision to healing power for a little extra kick, 10 in fire for more charges on conjured weapons)
All I can say is good luck to you.
As coolmanx mentioned, a “pure healer” Ele is usually not required or desired as the meta is currently geared towards killing enemies as fast as possible. (Not something I agree with, but that’s the way GW2 has evolved.) If you do nothing but sit in Water Attunement in dungeons, other players will get fed up with you quite quickly.
That said, you can still trait for “healing” while still providing offensive and support power. As coolmanx recommended, go for Cleric’s armor and weapons, and then a mixture of Cleric’s trinkets with whatever else you’d like to boost. Don’t just sit in Water Attunement; rotate through your attunements and switch to Water only when you see your party needing cleanses or healing.
Hi all. I am new lvl 80 aand i wanna plsy healer elemental in doungen. Which yraits is best and whic gear set i must prefer?
I would kick you so hard it wouldn’t be funny. Except for the fact that the player self heal is the most effective heal available. you staying in water is actually SIGNIFICANTLY slowing the part down and like the others have said, I might hate the zerker meta, but I don’t like people being useless in my group (then again I barely like group activity, so my anger is going to be amplified by playing with someone that is being dumb), either.
This is an mmo forum, if someone isn’t whining chances are the game is dead.

Now now, sure healer wannabes of all stripes are deadweight, but I admit even I have to appreciate pretty the green numbers of full heal-specced water-camping staff ele are:
At 1500 healing power;
Water Blast: heals for 745 with an attack interval of 1.35 seconds which is 551 HP/s. Soothing Mist: 155 HP/s (100% uptime easy with lingering uselessness).
Regen: 317 HP/s (at least 50% uptime with Water Alacrity with Healing Rain, possible to maintain permanently by attunement switching via Elemental Attunement and/or spamming stoning through Healing Rain.)
= 1023 HP/s (2 and a half Healing Signets worth of heals for everyone gasp)
[while you do about 200 damage per Water Blast for about… 148 DPS]
But wait, there’s more!
Geyser: 1183 × 3
Evasive Arcana dodge + your Blast Finishers in Water Field: 1620 per
Healing Ripple on returning to Water Attunement: 2820
(Sigil of Renewal proc: 524)
(Sigil of Water proc: 520)
The role-playing potential is out there!

I will preface this with saying a healer ele is not “optimized” so it’s a play-how-you-want build. I have a guildie friend who made an ele healer for when she wants to play more relaxed (most of her other toons are zerker). I believe her build is 0/10/0/30/30 with magi’s gear and staff. Her water staff auto-attack heals melee players for almost 1k, and swapping to water attune heals aoe for about 3k. She does kitten for damage but she drops frost bow and FGS. Our guild is not always about being fully optimized, and this type of build is fine as long as you aren’t expecting to impress any pugs with your dps.
That said, I much prefer dps ele because it’s an insane amount of damage while still giving some solid offensive support (so much might and fury).
