Guild Wars 2

First of all, i’m an Elementalist lv 80 that wants to make a Critical Build.
As I’m dying very quickly in WwW i’m also thinking in the defense, so Toughness and Vitality are also important.
I did some simulations and I want your opinion before I buy the last part of my set, the Jewels.
So… which one do you guys think it’s the better?

NOTES:
“Crit. Order” are the builds where my critical are bigger in order.
You can use the position in the order to say which are you refering. Like:
“The 1º is very good in damage but has low def” “the 3º are very well equilibrated…”
“Crit. Score” is how more than the normal the critical does in each build.

if you want a crit build. gear glass cannon.
power + crit % + precision.

you die fast.. so you need to learn to avoid direct confrontations.

dont see what weapon you use. and i doubt this works on DD.

but staff + full dmg, no survival. works for me. tho i want more dmg for sacrificing myself to a 3 hit kill target :P

One thing you could consider is that on jewelry, each 1% of critical damage costs a lot less stat points than on let’s say your weapon. So if you limit critical damage to just the jewels, you have some extra stats left to spend on survival.

Something like Emerald Jewelry with Sapphire gems in it could work pretty nicely.

Yeah, I’m using staff. Most part of the time in Fire. Sorry i forgot to say.
And my traits are: 25/25/10/10/0.

So, maybe i should the best damage and change the way to play, catching the enemys by surprise?

Hummm, that is a really good idea. So do you think a good idea is to put more critical in the jewels and to use the set for Toughness/Vitality?

My main doubt now are in the first 4.
Now i have 1807.92 in crit. damage.

Using the 1º I’ll have the same survival, but doing more crit. damage. (2324,67)
Using the 2º I’ll have +88 vitality and more crit. damage. (2321,19)
Using the 3º I’ll have +216 in all stats, +20% Magic Find & more crit. damage. (2025,32)
Using the 4º I’ll have +514 Toughness and more crit. damage (2122,46)

Oh! Abd if I change my set to one with more survive status, i’ll lost 16% in my critical damage status. =/

First, get all PVT gear if you are a noob dying alot in WvW.

You go more crit after that as you slowly throw out the training wheels.
Stack your sigils and eat your bread!

This does not apply to staff to snf. If you are either, glass is more viable.

In my Gear for now i’m with the Berserker’s Exotic set.
Just need some more Runes. xD
The problem is that my set has power, precision and critical. And my runes have power and critical. So I really have no survive.
My doubt is: To invist everything in critical and make a canon or to try some balance.

And, for “eat your bread” you actually mean “eat your bread”? Like getting buffs from food?
