Guild Wars 2

Hi,

Well I stopped playing this game for a good 3-4 months but have recently been trying to get back into it. Been playing some tPVP with my Elementalist and was wondering what the best build seems to be at the moment?

Seems like everyone goes on about this “D/D 0/10/0/30/30” build. Could anyone tell me more about it?

What sort of Amulet & Jewel/Sigils/Runes are people using these days?

Any help would be appreciated, back in the day Ele’s seemed extremely “squishy”, as alot of people put it…so anything that helps to change that would be great :P

No responses? It’s hard enough to find tPvP matches the majority of the time – I didn’t expect these forums to have died this much too!

Any help would be great! I have searched and haven’t found anything about this D/D build in PvP with good combinations to select. Most links to these “build editors” seem to not work for myself either.

Daphoenix’s guide should cover everything.

As for amulet and gear. its a bit spread through the 12 pages. Try Knights, Soldiers or Clerics (clerics is good for hte healing boost+toughness). For armour: 2x Monk, 2x Water, 2x Divinity. Or 6x divinity.

I was aware of that thread but it seemed more PVE/WvW oriented, so was stuck on what to use :P

Will try something out as some I play against are very good/take a while to die, where as months ago Ele’s were seen as awful/nobody would play them at all really!

They were never terrible, people just didn’t know how to play them

‘Bunker’ Eles are very popular at the moment, but for a well played hybrid build Ele they are no competition.
Also WvW is a great place to work out the bugs in your D/D build and practice in 1vsX situations.
