Can someone explain to me important skills/traits support Ele uses/has? I want to know when to try to kill them and when not to

Talking about d/f metà tempest, after he use both obsidian flash and earth overload you can cc+burst him down.
So basically when he swap out of earth.
Fire attunement has burning speed as evade so be carefull to don’t waste damaging skills or cc into it.
Shocking aura can stun you, if you are in melee range without stability, so be carefull for it.
Water doesnt have any defensive skills.
Best moment for try to burst him down is when he try to overload air or water.

also, stab on overload is a trait option, so be careful to watch for that. It’s only 1 stack and non-refreshing, so easy to get around

Most eles dont take the stab. The biggest thing is obviously pressure. Force them to blow cooldowns and cc their water overload. Stripping their protection is important too. If your team isn’t completely kittened than focusing an ele down should not be that difficult unless the ele is good.

if it’s about pvp and you’re 1v1ing the ele on a neutral node, you already won even without killing him. the ele is the core of the team, supposed to be present in 4v4/3v3 teamfights, if the support is missing in those crucial fights chances are high that your team will win that fight.
