Guild Wars 2

I like idea of having the 2 summon abilities. It might motivate me start playing again. But are they any good in PvE or PvP? Normally i seen pets are horrible but are they any different from other?

The lesser Glyph is nothing special at all. At best the Lesser Golem is nice to have as an extra meatshield, but that’s about it. The upgraded Glyph Elementals will use the same skills as their respective lesser counterparts, but they have a new active ability each. Earth Elemental is practically a tank and draws aggro very well. It also can grant PBAoE protection. Ice Elemental is decent for sizable heals and condi clear, but the knockback effect makes it tricky to use. Fire and Air are okay at best. Air is a bit more worthwhile, imo, since you can summon it at range vs the Fire Elemental that has to be in melee and generally will get wrecked pretty fast.
