How do I improve as D/D celestial Ele?
Compared to that, i can’t even combo properly yet, but keep up the good work xD
You should visit 1v1 Arena frequently. I’ve learnt a lot from dueling with good to very great players there.

yeah and not to brag I do beat most of players that I duel unless they counter comp me.
Even then I can put up a proper fight while changing my amulet from celestial to soldiers. I need to go higher than average 1v1 arena and also work on team games because I want to contribute in winning the entire team battle rather than 1v1 at home or far node.
I think if you play the harder fresh air build that will increase your skills, since you have less room for mistakes.
Fights vs engis seem a bit harder do to having less burn duration, but most other fights should be pretty even. In a team setting cele is very good at sitting on point (like if you push far and want to hold it). If anything, practice your defensive rotation so you can outlast some 2v1s until someone comes to help you. If you can hold 1 person at a stalemate while you have the point its good enough. If you can hold off two thats even better. My advice is duel meta builds and even practice staying alive 2v1.
Another good thing to practice is sharing your heals well. Ive saved many teammates close to death by purposely switching to water and healing them.

What i picked up ftom my master is to go from celestial to zerker amulet. It will heighten your sense of danger and focus on landing the damage. I’m not sure if you have any contacts for 1v1. I usually go bold with contacting the esport streamers who I find really good players to see how they counter my class. Also 1v1 good ele is really helpful as seeing what kinds of shortcomings you have. When I started playing ele, I was so horrible. I lost against my ele master flat under 20 secs. Now I can hold my ground well, everything becomes much slower and I can pay attention more on peeling for teammates. Maybe 2v2 tourney can help you?

Out of curiosity, what are counter comps you have seen?

After what you wrote, your biggest skill improvement will come from playing OTHER classes in pvp and become good at all of them. Then you can go back to your elementalist and use what you’ve learned to adjust your playstyle.
