Guild Wars 2

Have not played since before HoT and remember d/d was very good. I have read enough to know as of now ele has taken a nice hit from the nerf bat. Was wondering if it is still awesome 1v1 though. I am just looking for a class for good solo roaming, duels, some solo spvp. Thanks.

1v1 in wvw? extremely good
in pvp, not as good

IT depends on what you fight and use. Ele can build quite directional.
In sPvP i have to watch out for reapers. Some are realy dangerous also scrappers and revenants can be serius but as said it depends. I can build to beat revenant but a thief might blow me in seconds if i do ….
So it comes to your build, skill and knowing what you can handle. Disengage or better don´t engage if you know its a bad fight. Go with your team then, thats where tempest has good potential. Ele has lost it jack of all trades in pvp due to cele gone and is more support now.
In WvW for roaming its realy good. I do solo and small team (2-3) roaming. Just do PvP after HoT becaust maps were to empty.
