Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone (i’ll start to apologize for my english, not that good ).
I restarted the game 2 weeks ago but i don’t realy know how Els are played actually (with the new patch..). For all the game mode.
I find that in Fractal it’s D/F, S/F for dungeon and whatever in PvE (Staff is the mot powerfull ?) but which runes/armor are used ? I’m fully zerk right now with scholar and wanted to know if it’s okay or if i need some other set ? (for the sigil i don’t realy know what is usefull). And wich traits ? I run (1/1/1/0/) (fire air and water)

In pvp i saw a lot of D/D but i tryed nearly everything and for me it’s seems that S/F and D/F is the most resistant when everyone can kit you in D/D without taking a lot of dammage ( i play everything with celestial and hoelbrack like i saw on this forum ).
Do you a have any council ?

And to finish, what about the WvsW ? I went to today’s morning and i saw nobody.
So i couldn’t try some builds .

Pretty sure most people run zerker staff with scholar runes in pve now. You can check metabattle for some tips. But generally it’s fire and air and then either arcana or water. I find Arcana a bit more useful than water, but I suppose it’s a personal preference.

For pvp, it’s not really that clear atm what to run. I think d/d with earth, water and arcana has a potential to replace the old d/d build, but d/f with fire arcana and water seems to be quite good, too. Playing fresh air is still not really viable in high tier and I would say it’s a bit more difficult now, but you can go both s/d or s/f with marauder/zerker (but you’ll be really really squishy). I’ve seen some staff eles having a good time in pvp, too.

For wvw, I would say it’s pretty much the same as for pvp now. You might not want to play fresh air there, though. Just try things out and see what works out for you.

atm i’m having fun with D/D but need to remain the mechanics, prefer a lot of the s/f or the d/f but i like to try and play well all build.
When you try the staff you need to be with someone. It’s realy hard to 1vs1

A lot of times it’s super frustrating. I love it!
