Here’s a fun PvE Tempest build I’ve been using themed around League’s most windiest support.

This is extremely support-ish, but tempests don’t need support role… not with staff being awesome and well-stablished. Ele lacks condi. damage and raw damage… folks thought this would be the focus… as much as they try to push a mid range support, no one is buying this idea.

That very confusing what your saying why dose tempest not need to be a support roll? If any thing tempest is support comply.
Tempest maybe the first true healing support of GW2.

Its a cool build but its a question of rune set your only getting 4 condition removals from that set i would think of the mnk would be better.

Are you basing that on Element Bastion and that cheap healing coefficient?

More on all the effects that tempest gets on-top of what ele can already out put. You can get very close to an healing support ele as is but i think tempest line can push it into a full healing class. So far i am having some luck with it as d/d tempest in wvw all though that very different then say in pve setting. It should be easier to heal in pve then in wvw or spvp and staff ele all in healing can heal support in most events its just there not much of a point to do so right now.

I disagree, but then again I don’t like staff. Either way, staff can’t grant 10 stacks of party wide stability. Warhorn can.

Staff can make a good support ele as we have seen in WvW but a Tempest can make a good support that not only has good condi dmg but the Aura sharing can be a game changer on top of it.

A Tempest can stack burning very quickly, has access to water fields, aoe regen and has better access to aura’s than our previous aura builds.

I’m not saying Tempest is ready yet because it’s not. I have already listed changes I would like to see in other threads but I do think it has the potential to fit a support/condi/aura role rather well.
