I can't decide on what runes I want
Ruby orbs. Beryl if you end up needing a bit more defense.

Yeah divinity really aren’t worth it. Definitely not the whole set; I could see using 2 along with Superior Monk and Water for some crit damage after boon duration, but i would never use more than that. Ruby orbs are great, especially the embellished ones if you feel like spending a couple ecto: they have one of the cheapest trade-offs of stats for crit damage. If you’d rather go with runes, than Eagle and Scholar are good offensively oriented choices

Where do you get Embellished orbs? I can’t find anything in the Wiki about them.
Ogre forever and never look back son :p

Kaosberg De Lay
Deflora Pulzelle
One thing you could consider is how much stats the critical damage costs per item, and only use the gear the sacrifices relatively little stats per % critical damage.
As for the runes, the boon duration runes are useful for more than fury and might. Longer protections and regeneration could allow you to deal more damage because you don’t have to pull out of danger as often.

Ruby and Beryl are the best price to performance ratio.
120 Power
84 Precision or Vitality
12% crit damage
Getting 12% crit damage usually comes at a heavy cost of another stat. The only way to get crit damage at a very attractive budget is by using orbs, rings, accessories, amulets and capes. Crit damage on weapons and armor is too costly.

So i forgot when I originally responded but you cannot socket embellished orbs into armor, they’re used solely for jewelcrafting, so ignore that part, but orbs are still one of the cheapest stat-wise ways to get crit dmg

This isn’t accurate. Capes have the worst crit%/stat ratio alongside Head and Leg pieces. Rings only have good ratio when they are Ascended, weapons have decent ratio. Shoulders, Hands and Shoes have amongst the best crit%/stat ratio and the best by far are exotic jewels:

@OP: Personally I use Divinity runes, because they have the most stats and Ele actually makes use of all of them frequently, AND they add very high crit%. Ruby Orbs and such are nice if you aren’t in danger of taking damage, but where is that place?

I tried out a combo of two monk and water runes and two beryl orbs. Strangely enough, I seem to be surviving better than having 5 Soldier runes and a Soldier crest. Probably has a lot to do with the increased protection and regeneration duration, as I swap attunement like crazy.
I definitely like this setup more than the Soldier setup, but I still feel a little lacking in DPS. I spend another week running dungeons to see if I can’t dial back getting downed a little more, and if I can, I think I swap the Beryls for Rubies.
