Would buffing our damage output or tweaking some skills be a good way to balance out the buff that will be coming to healing power?

To me I feel like if they are going to make it harder for us to bunker shouldn’t it make it a little easier to do sufficient damage. I’m not talking about “X” skill does “Y”% more damage, more so adjusting hit boxes, strengthening our fire and air traits and changing cool down rates. Also I am not opposed to the idea of doing what they did to magnetic grasp to other skills. I really enjoy using magnetic grasp a lot more now how it is split up into two skills. I use it much more frequently and have better success with it.

I hope the devs already have something like this happening, if not I hope they can get it into action. I love my elementalist and I will continue to play it even if the class goes to the trash can.

I think they definitely have those things in mind. There are people working at Anet full time just to think about balancing the game so they most likely had this idea a long time ago.

The problem is every little buff/nerf takes a lot of time. Besides that there are also a lot of bugs waiting to be fixed.

The only thing we can do right now is wait and hope. Hope that Anet had enough time to try out the changes and fix some bugs too.

And don’t worry, the elementalist will never be trash just due to the fact that they offer a lot of utility and damage. The bunker build will be nerfed but other builds will become better and more popular which is always a good thing.
