Ice bow really needed a nerf so I’m not bothered with this. Now for that conjure weapon rework..

Skill 5 is still very useful, and skill 4 is still great on enemies with large hitboxes.

Why not do it at the same time? Instead of rendering them completely useless until they get around to doing a rework.

I would guess that it has to do with the devs being very busy with the elite specs. A proper rework would require quite a bit more than just changing some numbers or adding a very basic functionality.

Did Irenio do that or was he just the delivery guy?

I was mostly being hyperbolic.

Skill 5 is situationally useful and only really in PvE and only really against veteran mobs.

Skill 4 is now comparable to Gylph of Storms.

So no, not completely useless, but giving up a utility slot for it is much less desirable.

Yes, so the final conjure skill which has been not been nerfed to hell is now ruined.
Yes, it did a lot of damage, but you had to get something for using a utility slot and losing access to all your other weapon powers for the time.

How about reworking the conjure powers first BEFORE wrecking them?
As in “we’ll reduce the power of ice bow 4, but the arrows will now heal allies in the area for a bit.”
For now we’re just stuck with 4 pretty crappy to mediocre powers.

Instead of a 10, 20, 30, 40, or 45% nerf, let’s just go straight to 50% damage nerf. Being a dev is very scientific.
