Is Celestial still gear set for roaming D/D?
I have recently switched from S/D thief to D/D within the past week and I found the Celestial gear was more forgiving than Zerker, but gave me enough DPS to win most 2v1s.
Wouldn’t go full celestial. I am using a few parts, but not full. You can combine it with berserker/tankier stats for good dmg and survivability.
Wait til balance patch day, theirs a high chance that they will nerf the stats on celestial gear because it makes many might stacking specs to forgiving

They might nerf the celestial ammy in spvp but in wvw or pve? very unlikely

Celestial gear needs a buff. It is different to the PvP Celestial amulet.
This question has been asked numerous times.
Celestial in WvW is designed to create an all rounder.
Now theres where u want to draw the line.
The DnD is flexible enough to be in any position except kill guards on a keep from ground level
So if you want to be DPS based 02066 with 1/3 zerk 1/3 celestial 1/3 Knights with the usual cantrips,sigils and strength runes etc
If you want to survive more and do decent damage with 00266 you go 2/3 celestial and the othe 1/3 mixed into cleric and soldier with the usual cantrips,sigils and hoelbrak runes etc
Hybrid ? best to go 02066 with 2/3 celestial and 1/3 into knight and ,zerk with hoelbrak or strength runes and usual rest. Power stacks are better but precision is fine. 00266 is fine but with hybrid you dont have fury long enough to overlap all spells since boon duration nerf.

00446 with 1/3 celestial 2/3 cleric with 2 slots into soldier if u have spare traits.
