Not really, but it’s probably better than a lot of stuff in this meta anyways.

yes it is . in solo i find it better than tempest cleric in some situations . With paladin amulet and cantrip ( old cele build with paladin amulet ) it is quite strong. You have good damage . it is something different. Cleric tempest is really strong but it has low damage . Paladin ele is not a bunker as cleric obviously but can be quite strong . if u were used to it you can do really well. If you start from scratch tempest is easier and more effective in many contests
the d/d paladin build is alright. It becomes moot in higher tier play because you don’t have enough sustain to actually win fights vs non-burst classes.
Bad Elementalist
D/D with paladin can be good against condi-builds if you take DS, cleansing water etc. but in most 1v1’s, you get out-dps’d or outsustained.
I’m currently toying around with a menders build, but you cannot run that without focus, so Dagger/Focus is likely going to be the only choice for PvP currently.
Viable in PvP? I have no idea but it’s still viable in WvW.
