Guild Wars 2

I’m loving the new elementalist now. Been performing consistently in tpvp and spvp and all. But I was looking through the utilities out of boredom and I noticed something. Conjure earth shield. I conjured it to see the skills and it looks like it could help with tanking with the 3 block skills, 1 of which is invulnerable. I wonder if anyone else has tried this in actual pvp situations and if so, does it even help or not? Would be great if we could add another solid defense if needed. On top of what we already have!

Most people that use earth shield usually run condi builds with perplex runes, you get 2 interrupts with it so its quite useful. I’ve never used it before in a pvp situation but from my experience its clunky and slow, but it might be useful for tanking if specced right.

In my experience, it was useful, but it completely halts your offensive which tends to hurt in the long run.
