I feel exactly like you. I don’t want run staff in WvW (despite the amazing build 0/30/0/30/10 incoming), i don’t want play scepter, but with this patch, DD will definitly be unviable. I lost the count, is it 6 nerfs in a row ?

I really hope they wont move reneving stamina to master tier, if they dont, the upcoming lingering element debug could finally be a thing liking a buff. (even if its just debugging and if our dispell will be screwed up again, i just made my mind that we’re forced to lose against engi and necro ^^)

Dont get me wrong, I’m not quiting because the build is going to be ruined(not like its not already…), actually it will be just a minor nerf. Well i quit partly because of it, but i quit mainly because Anet just kitten all over the place time after time and expect the people to like it. This was just my icing on the cake.

When meteor shower is on cooldown, waypoint back to spawn.
That is how you play WvW.
You don’t want your teammates to be killed rezzing you, or rally the downed players from your meteor storm.
They could just replace every adept-tier trait with new traits that have fancy names and descriptions that say “this trait does nothing” and it wouldn’t effect builds with new ele at all.
The new meta-ele builds MUST take lava tomb, b/c it will be your most-used skill. Nothing but glass-cannon is viable b/c the cost of basic survivability means giving up everything else, and still surviving worse than any other class.
Are you talking from sPvP, WvW or PvE perspective? The problem imo isn’t so much the nerfs to healing, it’s that in most PvE healing is only required if your group is nooby.
I play healers in most games too, so I get the disappointment. I occasionally run with the zerg in WvW and healbot on my guardian to satisfy this urge. But in most cases you are dragging your team down by focusing too much on healing.

I didnt knew the heal build have any application in SPvP. Which it doesnt – the last few nerfs made sure of that. Pve doesn’t need it as you say. No, I talk mainly for WvW. Since there is the only living application of the build. And not for zergs, who cant play with zergs?!? I’m speaking of solo/team scouting, and if you think the healing/condi removal there is not important – you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about, most likely because you don’t run the build. So please, don’t comment something you don’t understand.

I almost exclusively WvW, prefer small groups, and run heavy group condi removal and boon support — with, yes, some healing too. My above statement still stands. I just re-read your OP though, and I mistook this thread for a discussion of sorts, when actually you just wanted to drama llama. (“Why don’t you just remove ALL healing Anet? WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”)
