Keyboard layout
5 is too hard to reach. Thus:
1-5 Weapon Skills
WER Left Forward Right
D Backpedal (Only use for Channels like Drake’s Breath and landing your Fire Grab)
Q Heal
T Stomp
ASF Utilities
G Elite
ZXCV Attunements (F1-4)
Y About Face
Left Alt Stow Weapon (for Lightning Whip spam)
Tab is Next Target
Capslock is rebound to Shift and is Dodge (so you can dodge jump with space)
2 mouse buttons: 1 is Set Target, 2 is Push to Talk on TS/RC/Mumble
6 is Acquire Target
Carrying enemy team since 2012

Just copy-pasted this for you:
Hello!
There are two different keybinding methods:
First one is called “reach”: you use the ESDF for moving. You can easily press YAQW and RTG and SHIFT+RTG buttons. Easy combinations: 10
Second one is called “modifier”: you use your little finger to hold down SHIFT and/or the CTRL key. You can press Q, ERF, SHIFT+ERF, CTRL+ERF buttons. Easy combinations: 10
Also never forget: the easiest keystroke is the SPACE. So now I always have the SPACE+modifiers binded.
Currently I’m using:
Q: weapon swap
ER: weapon skills #1 and #2
SHIFT+ER: weapon skills #3 and #4
CTRL+R: weapon skill #5
SHIFT+SPACE, CTRL+SPACE and CTRL+SHIFT+SPACE for three utilities
Redragon Perdition mouse Num pad: 4 profession skills, healing skill and the elite.
Extra button: dodge
If you don’t have a gaming mouse you can move the attunement bindings to the number keys.
Just realised that virtually NOBODY is using the SPACE key… Why???
The easiest modifier combinations ever… Pinky presses the shift or ctrl or both while Thumby hits the SPACE … During this you can move with WASD or use 1234ER.. Here you go… Three extra-fast keybindings.
Hi guys!
I know there’s been countless topics on the subject, however I think they are now pretty far away in the forum.
I think we can all pretty much agree that the default layout (f1, f2, f3, f4, 0-9, etc) is far from optimal
However since we all are different people, I’m interested to see how you decided to change your controls and which keyboard and mouse you possess (do you like them, would you change them…)
While it can be interesting for veterans players, the new ones could also find interesting ideas as to where to bind which keys.
Yeah, I would suggest to everyone to rebind the keys for your own preferences. The default layout is far from optimal. Might take a while to get used to the new layout, but it will be worth it if stuck with. Here’s how mine looks.
S left strafe, D right strafe, Mouse 4 and 5 are forward and backwards
F E R G V for attack skills (respectively)
B N and M for utilities (thumb)
4 3 5 2 for profession mechanics (yes, they are placed by ease of reach of what I use most often and not in order)
W heal, Q elite, T swap, A dodge, Z jump, C interact and space auto loot. (space is set to auto loot so it won’t interrupt my utility skills if accidentally pressed by my thumb)
How you select where to put certain skills is all dependent on ease of use for the player. Attacks don’t have to be lined in order but rather where they can be accessed the best at any given moment. Someone else trying to use my keybinding might be overwhelmed, but to me they fit like a glove.
I also have a bunch of rubber/tall keys on certain skills to give my keyboard structure.
Oh, and all interface keys (map, TP, inventory, etc) have been relocated to my number pad.

I use 1-5 for weapon skills
Q : heal
E : Elite
Alt + on mouse
\ for dodge on mouse
Left Alt + 2-4 for Utils
Left wheel click: Target nearest
Middle wheel click: Utility #2 (feels good lol)
Right wheel click: Weapon swap
Left Alt + Z, Q, E, R for attunements (have to be careful not to smash E)
Select closest target on mouse
Select next target on mouse
Left Shift : PTT
WASD stays the same
It feels really weird to me to have any more than 4-5 buttons used on the mouse, and extremely weird in fights to activate skills with it. Just have the alt modifier, weapon swap, dodge and target closest/next on it. Not very fluent with those 12 button mice I guess.
