I’m just looking for a good ele build to try, since most online are a year old..

try something with the new scepter, it’s op.

im new to ele so no idea what traits to get and stuff..

All heals can be taken. Depends what you like. I prefer SoR to glyph. You can drop mist for arcane blast for more burst, as well scholar runes in place of divinity. You can take cantrip mastery instead of vital striking if you want cd reduction on cantrips.

This is a more balanced ele build. Bunker ele or glass ele builds are out there as well.

Whats the burst rotation btw for the 2nd one?

1. earth (have earth2 casted)
2. switch to air faceroll arcane blast 123
3. switch to fire before air 1 channel expires (you will crit and air cd will refresh)
4. if you have time cast phoenix, if you dont instantly switch back to air and repeat step 2.

Earthquake, updraft, phoenix, fire grab, churning earth and dragon’s tooth can all be used in creative ways in the middle of that rotation.

The downside is that phantasm mesmers (or mesmers as a whole) can really be hard to manage. Scepter has no reliable AoE abilities or good autoattacks.
