Whats the meaning of loosing 3k HP when using Ride The Lightning, is it a silent nerf or a bug?

It’s a bug. When you use Ride the Lightning OR Mist Form you lose all stat bonuses from weapon / traits, so if you have +Vitality on your weapon or trait you lose hit points. Also, the cooldown of Mist Form won’t be reduced by Cantrip Master, I guess it’s the same with Ride the Lightning and Aeromancer’s Alacrity

If that upset you, wtk you do, don`t press Mist form

definitly very HEAVY bug. I wonder why they break 10 things and barely fix one…

It’s Fight or Die! AN doesn’t like elementalists to escape from battle.

I used to joke with my friends that there would be a patch note saying

“Discovered unintended use of RTL that was allowing elementalist players to have fun, this has been fixed”

About a week later they nerfed RTL so it made you plummet if you used it off a cliff, thoroughly ruining one of it’s most enjoyable aspects.

The moral of the story is dont joke about this kinda stuff, because Anet is apparently listening.

They should also fix that RTL dosnt target walls, white animals like rabbits etc, and targets that are behind u. its freking annoying. :p

Turn off autotarget. hurfdurf

Any word on when or if this is going to be Hot-fixed ?

This was -just- fixed in the latest build.
