I found that it only works reliably if you are not in combat with the mob.

It seems to be a random amount, i did it and didn’t get 1 minute of fury, i got like 30 seconds of it.

i reckon its the combined fury duration from proccing shocking aura, frost aura and fire aura from the leap finisher. the durations add up

Same. One time I got 44secs the other 10secs it appears to be random

I think there might be some persistent latency in the leap finisher.

Did anyone try experimenting with running multiple times through the fire field or timing the grasp so they land directly on top of the ring when it completes vs simply crossing it once?

My fury/swiftness lasts the normal duration most of the time, but I only cross it once, and I always cross it cleanly and don’t step back into or over the combo field for a couple seconds after (pve)

I get the 1min as long as the ring of fire or burning speed doesn’t hit the mob, and the magnetic grasp does. Other than that, I just get the normal seconds.

“Combo” with Burning Speed: Burning Speed creates lots of “small” fire fields, if you time your Magnetic Grasp to pass on top of all of them you get massive amounts of Fury/Swiftness.

Also, Magnetic Grasp “procs” Ring of Fire lots of times. Create Ring of Fire in front of a mob (don’t aggro, and don’t allow your Ring of Fire to hit the mob) then use Magnetic Grasp to reach the mob, passing through the whole field of Ring of Fire -> voila 1m Fury.

No seriously, Anet will get to it shortly – when it comes to getting an unintended benefit, that’s usually axed pretty quickly.
