Sunspot – inflict dmg at location when attune fire (180radio, 5) + fire aura when attune fire only while in combat.
Electric Discharge – hit your target with Lightning Strike when attune air.
Earthen Blast – inflict dmg at location and cripple when attune earth (240radio, 3).
All of them are offensive.
So there are reasons why radious for fire and earth are so small: its becouse to not engage into combat whenever you run and change attunement, you just don’t want to be in comabat when you don’t want it.
Seems they found solution which is:
firstly – hit your target – one negative is when you observe enemy and prepare to fight which often means changing attunements you can engage,
secondly – only in combat like you see with fire aura from sunspot.
So if they would consider use that first variant:
fire minor master ‘sunspot’ could be – hit your target with Lava Axe (one might, 900range [conjure fiery axe aa skill]).
If they would consider use second variant:
fire minor master ‘sunspot’ could be – 300radious cuz it would deal proc only in combat.
In other hand maybe minor should never proc aoe offensive skills?
Check water minor its:
Healing Ripple – heal allies when attune to water (240 radio, 5).
Totaly defensive, but one negative about that I can say is:
combo it with Cleansing Wave – remove condition from allies when attune to water (240 radio, 5). Its make both of them: weapon skill which name is the same as that of second trait: Cleansing Wave dagger 5 (heal, condi, 240 radio, 5).
I would suggest removing both Healing Ripple and Cleansing Wave.
Give instead:
Wave Relief – use Cleansing Wave [insert here skill template for Cleansing Wave] when attune to water. Make it Grandmaster instead Shooting Power.
I don’t have idea what defensive skills would be suited to take place of sometimes problematic offensive majors. So share if you have your thoughs.
Back to idea of traits thats proc offensive skill, as long is they will be major, not a minor as now I have skills that I would suggest:
-no idea for fire,
-for air Lightning Strike remains, but add 0,1 or 0,2 delay before dmg hit to compensate it there could be slight dmg boost,
-for water Frozen Burst,
-for earth Ring of Earth.
Frozen Burst and Ring of Earth also could be minor, but limited to proc only in combat.
